Frequently Asked Questions

What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is personalized, evidence-based care that helps restore movement, reduce pain, and prevent future injuries. Our licensed physiotherapists assess the root cause of your concern, then design a plan to help you move better and feel stronger for the long term.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

You do not need a referral to see us. However, some extended health plans require one for reimbursement, so it is always best to check with your provider. ICBC and WorkSafeBC claims may require additional information.

How should I prepare for my first appointment?

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete registration. Bring any relevant medical reports, imaging results, your Personal Health Care Card, and if applicable, your ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim number. Wear comfortable clothing so we can assess movement easily—shorts are ideal for lower body assessments.

How do payments work?

We accept debit, credit, and direct billing to most extended health plans. ICBC and WorkSafeBC approved claims are billed directly. Payment is due after each private appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or changes. Missed or late-cancelled physiotherapy and massage appointments may be charged the full session price. This allows us to offer the time to another patient in need.

Is there parking?

Yes. Free parking is available at Champlain Square Shopping Centre, and our clinic is steps from shops, coffee, and the Vancouver Public Library.

What conditions do you treat?

We help with back and neck pain, muscle and tendon injuries, post-surgical recovery, concussion and dizziness, arthritis, chronic pain, and more. We welcome teens, seniors, and anyone looking for rehabilitation focused on long-term health.
